My skin reacts badly to whatever the plastic Garmin use for their HR monitor straps.
I currently have the HRM pro plus - does anyone know of any aftermarket chest monitors & straps that are compatible & have similar functionality?
Years ago I used to put a Garmin sensor onto a polar strap, but they’ve changed the design so it’s no longer press studs and interchangeable.
The COOSPO HRM works with my 810 and Instinct 2 (£23.99 on Amazon). Can't comment on the allergy side of things though
Polar H10 works too, not the cheapest but its what I had already and was happy to find it works fine. Same for the Edge 530 too.
Will you be selling your Garmin strap? I have the old Garmin one that is ANT+ only and I'd quite like one that does Bluetooth too.
I have a Magene strap that also works fine with my Fenix
I use a wahoo one with my fenix 6 with no issues.
