You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Something went wrong with my Garmin express, not that I knew anything about it. I was trying to add a file into the New Files folder. I closed the window and restarted the device. Now there is a counter on the screen sitting at 99 and nothing happening. What was Garmin express doing (without asking) or giving me any notification in the background?
Is this now an ex Garmin.
Why can't they make software?
I expect you can do a hard reset on it - google it, someone will know how.
Resetting the DeviceIf the device stops responding, you may need to reset it. This does not erase any of your data or settings.
Hold for 10 seconds.
The device resets and turns on.

...but agree about Garmin and software. They make decent-ish hardware, but firmware/software is an embarrassment, and always has been.
I'm guessing that is a soft reset - if it doesn't work, then there should be a hard reset that they don't usually put in manuals. At least that's what I found with my Edge 800 a few years ago - it's worked beautifully ever since 🙂
Oh you want the super secret stuff? 😀
