Afternoon all.
A while back I got an ETrex and managed to plug it into my old PC (running XP) via the comm port. At the time I also bought a comm/USB adaptor thing as well. After upgrading my PC recently, I've no comm ports but I can't seem to get the PC to recognise the GPS when using the comm/USB adaptor. Tried downloading the drivers and using something on Garmins website thats meant to detect any GPS devices plugged into your PC and nothing.
Any bright ideas?

It's tricky getting the com/USB adaptor working ime. Best bet is just to try different drivers until you hopefully find one that works.
