My 605 is giving up the ghost and I'd quite like to start using HRM. If I buy a 800 will my existing maps work? One on disc, the others downloaded to chips.

Anyone know the best deal on one right now? Ta

I lost my 705 and bought the 800 a few weeks ago.
The old maps installed on my pc worked fine.
You just select them all from mapsource and hit send to device.
If you have maps loaded up on a micro sd chip they should work on the 800 too if you move the chip over.

Reason I ask is because the maps are registered to a specific device to stop us from sharing them.....I had a warranty replacement on my 605 a while back and it was a hassle getting the maps running.
