I've uploaded a base map to my Edge 520 to use on a couple of rides next week. I've also uploaded a couple of GPX courses to the unit but I can't access the courses.
When I plug the Garmin into the laptop I can look at the files and the courses are visible in the Courses folder but when I switch the unit on and go to Courses the list is empty.
Has anyone managed to run courses on an Edge 520?
If so, what am I doing wrong?
Ah you dont drop them straight in the courses folder.
There's like an 'upload' folder somewhere that you drop the files in the the unit process them itself.
Drop the gpx files in the 'new files' folder and they will auto load as courses when you start up the device.
Or add them through Base Camp
