Are they actually shipping yet? Quite tempted to get one.
Is it not an upgradeable base map? Apparently its an easy and, if you know where to get them, free upgrade. Its not routfinding though. This is according to some tech thing I read.
We have them in stock. Bikehaus in Gatley.
It doesn't have much memory available, so you are limited in how big a map you can load. Could be annoying for longer distance rides.
Do you need to buy the package with new heart rate chest strap and cadence dooda. Or will the ant+ones I have work with it?

Does it do maps or is it like the 510 where you can upload a route and get some basic pointers where you should be heading?
I thought only the 810 up had maps.
Could be wrong as I still take paper maps when out and about.
It has basic map but you upload an open source map of reasonable area, have a look on dcrainmaker for details.

Looks like the mapping is the same breadcrumb style as the 510 but with the useful addition of a map as background. A step forward but still no real routing involved.
