How much data can a Garmin Edge 500 store, in terms of hours riding, before it is full? Taking it away for a weeks riding soon and wondering how many hours it will store before it is full up and do I need to take my laptop to download midweek?

Hmm, loads more than that, I'd've said. You won't run out in a week.
Think I've got over a year's commuting mileage on mine (2 hours/day, 5 days a week). That's only GPS/Temperature/Elevation data though, don't run HR or speed/cadence.
