Hi all,
So, I have a Garmin Edge 1000 which comes with a chest band heart monitor ... which I hate.
However, I also have a Garmin forerunner 225 with an inbuilt HRM.
Both devices have Bluetooth.
Question - can you link the 225 to the Edge to supply HRM details whilst riding using the Edge ?
Confused ??
Yes, you need to find the broadcast heart rate setting. I do it from my forerunner35 to my edge 800.
Thanks Legspin,
Do you know where I find that on the 225 and inturn input on the Edge ?
The FR225 doesn't have that feature.
Finally it should be pointed out that Garmin has not enabled the ability to rebroadcast your heart rate from the FR225 to other devices. This means that if you were to have a secondary device (like a bike computer), you can’t have it connect to the FR225 to get your heart rate.
