I've got an Edge 1000 with the pre loaded (and updated) Garmin Cycle Map, as well as GB Discover OS Mas at 25k scale. Both are enabled.

No matter how much I zoom in or out, only the OSM map gets displayed. I'm sure the unit used to prioritise the OS maps.

I dont mind, as the OSM maps are pretty good mostly , but is this something that is adjustable?

I don't think it's possible. I have a vague memory that I used to have to disable OSM to see OS mapping.

Mine prioritises OS. This annoys me. I think they're shit. Must remove the card.

It leaves elements of OSM though, like some road names.

Probably the first time I've heard OS Maps described as "shit". but I know what you mean, they look poor on the Edge screen when zoomed in enough to be useful.

I think there is an option to enable/disable map types within the activity settings

Map settings -> map information

Allows you to enable/disable specific maps.

Yes, of course OS maps are superb, but on an Edge, they're shit!

Does it do it in order they're in the menu or something like that?

Yeah, you can disable maps in settings, under navigation, but my Edge definitely used to change the map displayed depending on the zoom level, I'd be happy with 50k OS when zoomed out a little (but they do look blurred when zoomed in)

That would be good! I've never had that, just the OS taking priority unless it's disabled. Every time there's a software update it gets reenabled. Had a 1000 for 3 years now too, so since the beginning.
