I use Garmin Connect via its webpage on a Windows 10 desktop, but when I use the "Send to Device" option (from the Course Creator or whilst viewing an activity through the calendar) I'm advised that "No Compatible Devices are found".
I have my Oregon 700 connected via usb (using Garmin Serial mode); it's synced correctly and shown as connected in Garmin Express - if I select the Connect IQ Store from the Garmin Connect website I'm taken there (the Garmin Connect website requests the connection of a compatible device, if one isn't connected, before doing this).
The Oregon is operating happily in Windows mass storage mode.
I'm using Chrome but have tried other browsers with the same result.
Any ideas as I'm slowly losing the will to live with Garmin software in all its guises at the moment?
Save it as a GPX file (Download). Your Oregon will be visible as a drive in Windows. Just put the file in the Garmin/GPX folder.
Yes, that works, I just wondered what was up with the "Send To Device" option.
It doesn't work with all Garmin devices. Edge series is OK.
Fair enough, thank you 👍
It’s flaky. I use it occasionally when I’m away from home with only the tablet/phone and it can take several tries to make it work.
