Hello any idea on this? I can see the rides on my Garmin connect page, but it won't then transfer them to Strava? Both Strava and Garmin can see each other but Strava isn't then getting the ride info from my Garmin.
any ideas? Thanks!

There can sometimes be a bit of a delay though. How long have they been sitting there?
I had to reauthorise mine last week. It's working again
Has it ever worked for you ? mines a bit hit and miss, some time within minutes through the phone and some times i have to plug it in to the computer but it always does it in the end
Did it last night! First time using it. Previously it was an upload to Garmin and then transfer across jobbie.
My Edge 500 is updated, must be s setting somewhere, but the privacy is all open... It's mildly irritating!! 😉
Gave up on garmin in the end and got a TomTom GPS watch and never had an issue!

I can get it into connect no bother just not into Strava from there.....
I find the Garmin software hopeless. If it's like an Edge 800, it appears like a USB hard drive and you can upload to Strava manually - in Strava just go to Upload -> File, then browse to the Garmin disk then Activities and select the dates you want to upload.
In strava where you link the service to Garmin connect, have you definitely entered your correct Garmin connect (and nor your strava) username and password? If it's wrong I don't think it notifies you so best to double check.

Garmin 520 > Bluetooth > Android phone > Garmin Connect > Strava > Strava Notification ping, all within about 3 seconds of pressing 'Stop' on the 520

(Very occasionally there's a lag between the Connect and Strava synch but everything usually figures itself out within a couple of hours, possibly down to traffic volume or short-term maintenance outages in either parties servers)
Am I right in thinking there's several ways this works? Mine works as per Mark ^^^. Forerunner 235 > Blutooth > Android phone > Garmin Connect > Strava - but this seems to link your Garmin Connect app to your Strava app, rather than relying on linking your Garmin account to your Strava account. I've had a sync fail for Garmin connect, but it had got far enough to trigger the Strava ping and successfully upload the run to Strava via the app. It did then try and upload it to Strava again when it successfully sync'd with Connect.
This seems to be a different mechanism than linking the accounts and getting your Garmin Connect to push the ride/run through to Strava?
I got an Edge 520 recently, and it wouldn't play nice with Strava.
Reconnecting the Strava account to the Connect account on the web seemed to fix it.
The only hassle I usually have is after an update, so know I just unlink and relink with the phone as a matter of course after either has had an update. Its the updates that seems to cause most of the problems with me.
Still not playing!!! Driving me nuts!! LoL oh well maybe a beer will help!
