As above, I've got the forerunner 50 hrm watch thingy, that can use the sensor, but don't know if it is practical to fit it to an orange swingarm (actually mines black but..sorry). And even if I did, how is it as a bike computer?
I've got a Garmin Edge 705 which uses the same sensor and to be honest I only bother with it on my road bikes, fitting it to a swingarm and getting it to line up with the crank and the wheel is pretty much impossible.
cheers, I guess I'll dig out the old cateye then.
Unless you want cadence there's not much point fitting the sensor as the GPS will give you distance and speed without it. The only reason Garmin put a wheel sensor in there is for turbo sessions which, I doub't you'll be doing on a 5. Just wrap the watch round your bars with a bit of pipe lagging if the bars are too skinny. Or just wear it?
