The app says "up to 40%" but I can't find that product on the website to check.

I use the defence discount card which is run by the same people who do the blue light card. That "up to 40%" is a bit of smoke and mirrors.  A lot of their products are discounted a lot less than that and some not at all.  Also, the 40% where it does apply, is based on their RRP which most retailers undercut. Some significantly. Many of their products can be found cheaper on other sites with a bit of Googling. I think the nearer an item is to update or replacement, the more likely it is to be discounted. Sometimes however, they come good on specific items. I saved a wedge on a Garmin Zumo XT motorcycle sat nav a couple of years ago. However when I bought a Garmin Edge Explore 2 recently, it was cheaper on Amazon than on Garmin's discount site.

There is a STW members discount too, which I think is similar?

I think my Instinct 2 Solar cost around the same as that one pictured a few posts up, maybe £10 - £15 more. Bought in January last year with the STW discount.

More recently, I got an Explore 2 for £187 - down from £249

It doesn't work atm.  Emails to myrewards.com or stw tech to report it go unanswered ☹️

I think £249 is Garmin rrp. I paid £189 for mine from Amazon in January.  Most retailers seem to sell them for around £209 atm.
