My Garmin has been chucking out some 'interesting' data recently. I guess it is down to issues hooking up with satellites etc. Is this something a reset would fix or is it just a case of putting up with it?

Are you riding different routes to usual (eg riding into areas with poor coverage)?

altitude or position? I've heard the former can be affected by dirt trapped in the breather holes in the back of the case.

@nemesis

No, my usual mid week routes

@scotroutes....ah...I have taken to stuffing it in my pocket (there isn't room on the stem for mount and lights at the same time) This may be it.

Last night I did a climb which took me from 273 feet to 551 feet in less than 1/10th of a mile........in Suffolk! I also managed a quick little sprint of 75mph the other day.

If it's in your pocket it's not going to have as good a 'view' of the sky as it normally does on your stem - that's likely to be the cause.
