Anyone use this combination and what do you think?

yep...tried openmtbmap and talkytoaster.
Good stuff and free, and has stuff on not found on 'proper' maps. I have GB, France and Italy for openmtbmap which I use by default now.

Used openpistemap / openstreetmap on my 800 and they work really well.
Hadn't tried openMTBmap as I've got 1:50 OS on the garmin but will take a look at that - cheers.
