I have had one of these since last summer and really like it for what I need, basic use is on road and gravel rides, stats but don’t use mapping. Have speed and cadence sensors on road, gravel and track bikes and it just auto syncs with no issue.

The battery however isn’t great, with a 4 hr ride leaving it on one or maybe 2 bars. There are a few threads online about this, but no clear solutions. I have backlight at minimum.

Any similar experiences?

I had a Garmin 520, turning bluetooth off on my phone so the two weren't connected all the time made a big difference to battery life.

As you're not using mapping it should be okay and not affect other functions?

Does it support Glasnost? Turning that off drastically increased the battery life on my 25.

Battery life is not great - they would not have had to make it much larger or more expensive to double or even triple it. Annoying -

BUT...I've yet to have it run out on a single day's riding and we're often out for 8 hours or more

GPS only, backlight standard settings i think.

Have it set to GPS and Glonass. Will try it with Bluetooth off, cheers

Boing. Iainc, does turning off Bluetooth keep the battery to a useful life?

I'm looking for a simple GPS, mapping not necessary but elevation/gradient very handy, and like the look of the 130. But would want to trust it to have more than 8 hours life.

Ta.
