Continuing my garage spring clean (and paint-out), I am looking to improve the storage of the various household bikes in the garage (regular single garage with an up and over door).
Just six bikes: two road bikes, four mountain bikes.
One wall bracket and one anchor on the wall. Four hooks on the roof, but I tend to use these for hanging spare wheels. Then the other bikes just lean against various walls untidily.

Any experiences of these?
Any other ideas how I can optimise storage?
What do you all use?
Oh, and four of the six bikes would probably benefit from and anchor for security.
Can you get 6 hooks in the roof joists? One per bike, then somewhere else two with a broomhandle sat on them to hold the spare wheels?
Ive got a Gravity rack and they work perfectly
Ive also got two knock off Gravity racks, exactly the same apart from they use screws to join the parts together rather than the spring loaded push button types on the Gravity rack
The two knock offs are just as good, nice and stable when set up properly, even when you remove the bottom bike the rack still keeps the top bike stable
Both came with extra mounts to secure the top to the wall if you wanted to, ive never used them and my 8k road bikes have been fine
There are two 2nd hand knock off ones for £43 inc p+p here
I built a box to keep ours in. The box is fully load bearing, you can jump around on top etc. It keeps them out of sight and gives back the floor space as you can store stuff on top of it etc.

Mild garage envy there footflaps!
I use steadyracks along one wall, the racks pivot too so saves a bit of space. Good anchor points for locks/chains etc as well.
Heavy duty wardrobe rail, bracket into each joist. Big S-hooks and velcro tape around wheel, then hang them up like shirts. Works with every size of bike and tyre. Can do pedals off, bars turned for less used bikes and they stack together nicely. Can have them straight out from the wall, or turned to save some space inside the garage.
