You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So I've been in the market for an E-mtb for a while but can't justify the price to myself. However when a bike has 50% off it's hard to resist!
Trouble is I've never heard of MMR bikes. They seem to be pretty big in Spain but new to the UK.
Has anyone here ridden one? or even better, bought one from Paul's cycles and have a glowing review??

Evans have got some decent deals on Trek at the moment:
I wouldn't be gambling on any ebike personally, unless it's cheap enough that the cost of the non-"E" components made it an acceptable risk (if the value in the fork, shock, drivetrain etc. was close to the price you're paying for the complete bike) so you were prepared to be sat there with a duff motor and frame in the shed but a pile of bits that could be used on a new build.
I feel the same on some non e-bikes too to be fair, if you're buying an end of line bike from someone going kaputt (like a bargain YT at the moment) you need to be able to 'write off' the frame as a worst case and see if it still seems like a good idea.
I'd rather have a £3k Saracen with decent suspension. The motor will fail but I'm told replacement is now quick and easy in warranty, and not overly expensive afterwards.
