Wife got me a pair for Christmas, they seem very nice but just a touch on the snug side, wondering if I'm better getting a larger pair so I can run a set of liners to prevent the dreaded mid-ride sweaty-hand-pulling-the-glove-inside-out moment...
Also - how waterproof are they really?
Ta
No, and very IMO. A three hour ride in the rain did leave me with damp hands, but it wasnt like I was ringing the gloves out. Hands remained warm.
No. I have sized up and use silk liners. Good gloves
mine haven't yet, only had 2 rides.
mine were snug as well but they have eased off after 1st ride
As above, no they don't turn inside out and regards waterproofing it took three hours of solid "roads closed through floods" rain to beat mine. That could also have been water running down my arms into them as well.
Ok thanks gents, sounds like a winner.

Why did you size up? Extra warmth from the liners?
I wish these fitted me as they get good reviews. Tried a couple of sizes but the thumbs were too short so returned them. A shame as they seemed well made and nice and warm. The search goes on….

Yes, I suffer with cold hands, sizing up gives extra wiggle room. I sized up from
Medium to Large. I have smallish hands but must have long thumbs cos all my summer gloves have holes in the end of the thumbs.
Buy some they are good. Over the years I’ve had sealskinz and endura that have both pulled the lining out. Once it happens they never feel right.

Yeah I was devastated when my favourite gloves eventually turned inside-out, they've never been the same since.

I'm hoping mine do the same. Very snug, I think maybe too tight, but I'm not sure I'd want to size up either. They would fit okay as a winter glove but I'm more worried about their maneuverability when shifting and breaking.
