Chaps its time for a new bike.. But not sure how much my old ones worth, let me know your thoughts:-

Giant XTC Carbon 2008 (frames had a bit of chain suck but only removed a chip of the outer paintwork no damage to the carbon
Fox 80mm forks/lockout
XT Crank
XT FD
LX RD
Mavic Crossride Wheels (1 year old)
Sram Cassette
Sram Chain
Kenda Nevegals DTC two rides
DMR v8 pedals
MPH2 brakes
X-lite bar ends
££££££££££

I sold a 2007 XTC composite for around £700 earlier in the year - better spec'd than yours in some areas but worse in others.

You could make it look instantly more sellable by ditching the bar ends, and putting the saddle in a sensible position!

I did indeed get this frame for 1 pint. However the frame is a little scratched up.

Bar-ends are ugly, as are flat pedals on a xc race bike.

If I was selling that, I'd strip it and ebay the parts.

Will what exactly did you do for the bloke to get that frame for a pint?

In certain circles is 'a pint' a euthanism for some slap and tickle?

OP- its one of those things thats either going to sell quick or take a very longtime. I'd add up the total cost and lop 60% off and hold your ground.

Possibly splitting the bike would realise cash better though- i.e. I think you'd get more for the forks on their own than if you included them in the build.
