I'm going round in circles here. I'm trying to find an adaptor to fit a Hope IS caliper to my RS Recon Post mount forks. I can find plenty (and bought one accidentally) the other way round.
Do they even exist?!
Help me please STW...

you need to know which caliper number your Hope has. There are adapters but there's a lot of choice.

Give Hope a call, they sell them. They sorted me out with a mount for my old Mini's when I upgraded the forks to post mount (180mm).

Read this and it should hopefully answer your questions. The adaptor I mention in there doesnt fit all forks but ought to work on yours.

I've just done the same, Hope IS calliper to Fox post mount fork, initially I used a hope +20 mount, this means a bigger disc & I wasn't happy with that, I got hold of one of these: KCNC Disc Brake Adapter IS - POST Anodised RED 160mm from Koo-bikes on Ebay, it needed a little bit of modification but allowed me to fit the calliper with the standard disc (actually 180mm for my Hope No 3 M4.
So if anyone's after a Hope +20 IS-post mount (that is IS calliper to post fork) I've one that's unused.

I should add that the red adapter came with spacers such that it could be modified to fit a range of disc sizes quite easily.
