You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I'm going to my cousins wedding in Toronto at the end of March. I'm going over for about 10 days. I've about 5 days of family stuff to do leaving me with 5 days to go have some fun. Currently I'm on my own but may get a few people joining me depending on what I get up to.
Looking for suggestions of things to do in the city and outside too. I've been once before and visited the CN tower and Niagara falls. I also like skiing and biking (obviously) and generally being in the outdoors. So outdoor activity suggestions are also welcome.
NHL may or may not be of interest to you but this is what I'd be looking at.

Followed by funnel cake.
If you would like to get out on an MTB there is some fantastic riding nearby. I posted on a few Candian MTB forums and hooked up with some cool guys to go out 4 times in 10 days of a business trip, so very accessable.
The 'Warplane Heritage Museum' in Hamilton is worth a visit if your into old warplanes, it's a working museum so many of the exhibits are being worked on by volunteers/veterans who are more than happy to chat.
My kids loved Canada wonderland and Toronto zoo is fantastic ,Niagara is OK but stray off the beaten track off Clifton hill towards Lundy's lane it gets a bit seedy ,
Drive back to Toronto through Niagara on the lake ,Fort George and St Catherine's one of the nicest drives ever ,
Canada's wonderland is awesome. Niagara not so much.
Niagara like Blackpool, but tackier.
Toronto is an awesome city, I could quite easily pass 5 days eating in the various streetfood places in chinatown alone!.
Yeah and how about St. Lawrence Market for a world-beating bacon roll.

Ottawa is also worth a visit if you have a car, its around a 6 hour drive from Toronto so you'd really need to stay overnight.
Loads of restaurants/bars, parliment building (light show), national museum, it's very laid back for a capital city.
thanks all for the suggestions, I'll look into them.
Keep them coming...
Have consulted my Torontonian other half. Canada's Wonderland is closed at that time. And hockey tickets are like gold dust. Can be bought from touts.
-Kensington Market for food and atmosphere
-ROM (Royal Ontario Museum)
-The Distillery District. Grab coffee at Balzac.
-Walk on West Queen West.
-Ice Skating at the Harbourfront Centre. Nice outdoor rink.
Touristy - go up the CN Tower. Drive to Niagara. Falls and maid of the mist trip. Rest of it felt like Blackpool. You can pop over to America at the falls. Prob best to take your passport 🙂
We also went to Stratford to see Hamlet (birthday present for my wife a few years back as the guy who played the Mountie on Due South was in it)
Test out different eateries.. Even the smallest cafe has a great selection. Eat hotdogs from the street vendors.
Find bike shops... I have a Toronto Bicycling Network top as a memento.
And hockey tickets are like gold dust. Can be bought from touts.
Seems to be a fair few for sale on the Leafs website, even against Ottawa.
Wish I was going!
Eat some poutine, drink some local beers, say "ay" every so often along with "aboot". Make sure you go out for breakfast too, a fine way to spend some time indeed.
Seconded for the ROM 😉 tis ace, and agreed with Rockplough for everything else except ice skating as i can't skate 😉
My Mrs is from just outside Toronto.
Here's a great picture of the CN tower:
(Might not be work safe!)
