Who has never ridden a full suspension bike?

I haven't. Have you?

Are you living in the 1970s?

Once, on a hire bike at Mabie while my hardtail was being fixed. Maybe I was doing it wrong but the main difference I noticed was the extra weight uphill. I expect the technology has improved in the seven or eight years since then but I haven't felt the need to try it again.

Never ridden one, though see lots in the LBS being fixed.

I don't really get how you can be into mountain bikes and not have at least had a go on one. Suspension isn't just there to take the bumps out...

If you haven't I recommend you try one. They come in all styles so why not try one in the same style as your HT for starters?

I'll always want to ride HTs, but as long as I can afford two bikes, I'll ride my FS too. Different kinds of fun.
