I have a full-sus frame that's needed two new DU bushings (the same one twice) in about six months.

Usually get more than a year out of them, so this is mildly concerning.

Does it suggest any underlying issues I should be concerned about though?

Play in the back end, frame out of alignment, something not straight, bearings shot.....

Whats the frame? Some designs eat them more than others - also check the shock shaft - if the bushings are taking the hammering it's probably saving your shock.

Yep (but no points as you know I've got a Mega).

Aye, but also kinda thought that due to the other threads on here about the bearings being a bit shite - and hard to get hold of as they were non standard. Have you had to change pivot bearings? worth a look mate.

My mega 290 did exactly the same, turns out the frame and swingarm mounts don't exactly match up. I spoke to Jake at Sprung  about it. His advice was to bolt in one end normally, but leave the other end with no hardware in and see how much out it was against the frame mounts. Mine was only a couple of mm, so I just offset the aluminium bush to one side to get it straight. I've had no problems since.

Very interesting thanks trusty, this is a 2017 Mega 290 frame.

I will try that myself.

2017? Words you may be looking for is warranty if it's much more out, moving parts not in line never ends that well
