ive been offered some fox forks foc off a mate
he says they have had some proper hammer and never been serviced, the leak oil but still hold air apparently and stations are beginning to show signs of wear,
he reckons all the seals and everything need changing,
I don't wanna say yes then have them sat there doing nowt cos its gunna cost a fortune to fix em,,
does anyone have any idea what sort of money we are talking about to fix em ?
£0 - if they are old and FOC I'd just run them till they die.
Stanchion change will be over £200 iirc, seals are easy and cheap to change yourself, as is the oil in the damper. Unless the oil leak is severe (e.g. a chance of it getting onto the disc) even that isn't worth worrying about
