About to replace the entire drivetrain on my 2010 Anthem X2. I prefer the idea of full length gear outers for mud proofing. Has anyone sorted a tidy and reliable setup without drilling out the cable stops? I'd rather not drill out the cable stops on a frame that is still under warranty.
why not buy a set of Gore/Nokon/etc, you have a full length liner which gives the protection but removes the need to drill the stops.
Nice one - thanks. I wasn't aware that you could get a full length liner. Seems to be a choice between Gore, Nokon and the Alligator i-Link system, all for around £50. Done a bit of searching and seems to be lovers and haters of each.
Lots of people suggest that the Nokon kit creaks and the coating peels of eventually so I'm veering towards the Alligator i-Link or the Gore I think.
