i know it has been asked before, but it was some years ago and the topic is now closed.

anyone recently taken their full-face/ski helmet on a flight? any problem?

if not i'll have to book a case on, but don't much fancy the suitcase with delicate helmets inside being manhandled around by the baggage crew.

Yeah, I took mine in it a little bag as my carry-on luggage and chucked my passport and paperback in it.

You can wear it for landing if you want*

I assume

In the past I've 'worn' mine and taken it on in addition to a rucksack. No one seemed to mind. YMMV of course.

You mean you didn't buy a Troy Lee D3 that comes with a travel case?

There's even a zip pocket on the side where I keep my passport, boarding pass and mirrored lenses.

I've just grabbed my FF for this weeks Alps trip. It had been in my shed so long it had ivy growing through it
