I have full face where I cracked the visor after a fairly low speed off. Helmet is fine. I was unable to source a replacement (Troy Lee Designs Air Strike Helmet 2012 bought cheap from CRC a few years back!!)

Any reason not to ride with a cracked visor, or try to repair (glue) the existing one, or 3d print a new one? Or just remove it entirely? I'm assuming the visor does not add any actual protection, is this not the case?

Heat up a small screwdriver, melt holes each side of the crack, small zipties & 'stitch' it back together.

Under no circumstances whatsoever, remove the peak or you will forever be known as 'that guy' - you know the one who rides bullet 🙂

No reason not to remove it, unless you need it to keep the sun out of your eyes (FF visors tend to actually give some benefit rather than just being pointless styling devices like some open face ones).

Oh and unless you want to race in which case the UCI say you have to have one to look cool and not look like you're trying to be aero. Local races might not care.

This, I mean, have some standards!

Just use some clear gorilla tape on it.

I'd just get some mega strong glue and some thin plastic, say from a chopped up old Tupperware box or similar, and bridge the crack on the underside.

I had a mate who rode a race with a bodged visor (made from an ice cream tub or something). The organisers gave him a spot prize of a new helmet! 😂

Soldering iron weld if you can get some more plastic of the same type to work as filler material even better.
