First trip to BPW this summer. I have the full face from previous trips to morzine many moons ago but no goggles so thinking of just using some clear cycling glasses.

I'm going to look like a proper dork aren't I?

If you think so then probably you will. I wear normal prescription glasses with my full face, and what I look like to others has never once crossed my mind to be honest.

Friend sometimes wears glasses with a full face, I can't keep up with him to take the piss though.

Have you tried goggles? Worth getting a pair as they can be really good on an open-face helmet too sometimes, especially in dusty conditions.

It's very Euro. The preferred approach at the PPDS đŸ™‚

Lycra with knee & elbow pads to complete the look.

Oh yes, or lycra shorts with full top half body armour & backpack bigger than your average carry on luggage allowance.

Gonna get some cheap goggles i think. It was the lycra & pads comment that did it!

Yes i know how shallow i sound.

Who cares what anybody else thinks, I would just wear whats comfy/practical.

Some full faces/glasses/head combos dont work well (arms dig into the side of your head), some goggles dont fit some full faces well. Some combinations fog worse than others. Goggles provide better eye coverage/safety(IMO).

I would go for goggles with decent ventilation personally.

If you are going with someone else, hide their helmet peak! They will look more of a dork than you then! đŸ˜‰

Ha, I went for the glasses and full face combo at BNES round 1.  Normally go for goggles when racing but didn't fancy it this time.  Basically, couldn't give a chuff what anyone else thinks and neither should you!

You should at least try goggles. If nothing else they can help your helmet feel more secure. Also when you remove the sensation of the wind rushing around your eye balls, it reduces the sensation of speed forcing you to go faster to compensate.
