Hi all,
I'm picking up a new road bike on September which comes with Fulcrum Racing 900 DB wheels. They're not the best but I have a set of hunts I'm going to stick on it so that's fine. However, I would like to use the Fulcrums on the commuter.
The only problem is, they are currently set up for thru axle and the commuter is a London Road with QR. I've contacted Fulcrum regarding adaptors but apparently the Racing 900 are thru axle only. My question is a bit of a long shot but has anyone had any luck converting them to QR, are there any bodges to be done? I see there are convertors out there for some Fulcrum hubs, anyone know if these will work?
I guess the final option is to get them rebuilt with different hubs but to be honest, they're probably not good enough to go to that effort.
Cheers
Can you get somebody to turn up a pair of adaptors to take a Skewer?
Maybe, found out today the bike has arrived a month early so collecting it from the shop on Tuesday. Will have a proper look once I've got the wheels
I have some adapters where i had a pr that were QR and i converted to 12mm. So i have the adapters. Can you pm me?
