Why ranting about things on the internet makes you feel better I just don't know, but bloody heck, Parcelforce still have a 9% Fuel Surcharge in operation, which I'm told they may reconsider sometime later at the end of their financial year.. We do get ripped off so.... There should be a bloody Fuel charge reduction it's down to 76p plus vat now in some places..

I had a similar WTF moment when I saw I there was VAT on a delivery charge, turns out it is valid.

Ha I'd like to see Arriva in our area reduce their tariff cos fuel prices are down now. The cost of travel borders on the ridiculous, but I digress.

I've sold my Road Bike and now realise I haven't charged enough for carriage, going to look elsewhere, any suggestions?

Depends how big the postage charge is in relation to the cost of the bike. If it's something daft like 5% of the cost of the bike, I'd just suck it up and make a metal note for next time.

Goes via parcelforce, but tends to be way cheaper than parcelforce will quote. Never have quite understood why!

Easy because they are tied down by these stupid laws just like Royal Mail with letters TNT get a contact go to pick the letters up from the printers with a lorry then drive it straight into a Royal Mail centre then we sort it and despatch it around the country and deliver it for the max of 13p an item bloody ridiculous.

Not true if Royal Mail or Parcelforce though. If a company trues to charge me extra, but uses either of those, i remind them it doesnt cost anymore, and then take my business elsewhere.

If you ever have to make any sort of claim with senditnow, you'll understand why, they're bloody awful. Well, mostly they're just silent, but when they actually respond every month or so, then they're awful.
