MTB or road??

On the MTB I had an FSA on my Comet chainset and switched it for a Shimano Hollowtech 2 one (took a bit of a tapping to get in)

Tried a Hollowtech 2 on the road bike for my Mega Exo BB and it didn't fit (I was told it would fit).

Depends on the crank, IIRC some are a fraction of a mm bigger/smaller, think it depended whether the cranks were carbon/alloy and whether the axles were alloy or steel, but it's only fractions of a mm. So some are a tigh fit, others loose, some perfect.

So officialy, only the correct FSA BB will fit, unofficialy Shimano (or anything else RaceFace, hope, token, Chris king) might fit/work.

I've not had any problems with my FSA cranks (on the road bike).
