Looking to pick up a new front Tyre and would like minion dhf 3c either wt version or 2.6.

The wt is 2.5 and Maxx grip compound the 2.6 is max Terra.

currently running 2.35 minion ss on back of meta am 4.2. replacing high roller 2. 4 not 3c.

any advice? not even sure if much difference...

Is the 2.5WT a Double Down?

They are significantly heavier than an Exo casing.

But they're awesome.

Na single ply weight jumps about 100grams nothing major roughly 930ish grams.

As it's not the driven wheel as well guessing won't noticed as much rotational weight gain. Physics boffins may disagree though!

Unless you are planning to manual everywhere then you're still driving the front wheel round when you pedal 🙂

NB: I am not a boffin.

TBH I couldn't find any 2.6 DHF's, so went for the 2.5WT. There's a few max terra versions about of the 2.5WT tyre, I'll be sticking it on the front, then the (current) front DHF 2.3 on the rear.

They would. Unless you wheelie everywhere.

"As it’s not the driven wheel as well guessing won’t noticed as much rotational weight gain."

You'll notice it more because the gyroscopic effect will change the steering feel.
