Looking to consolidate my road and gravel bikes into one bike and the Space Chicken has caught my eye but I’d like to stick with my 2x front Di2 setup.

Has anyone got any experience of whether it’s possible to mount a front mech given that it’s marketed as single ring compatible & diesnt have braze on style mounts?

I'd say no as the seat tube isn't round at that point nor is there a braze on mount. Try the Holdsworth Mystique as they offer that with Ultegra 2x as a full bike as well as frame only, it has a braze on mount.

Not sure if you want 650b or 700c wheels but the new Vitus Substance seems good value for a carbon gravel/adv bike, comes with 1x SRAM but can take a front mech.

£1799 for Apex is good value?

Space Chicken or Mystiques are
£1359.99 for Force right now.
