Looking for a new front light to replace an old LED one and have £250 ish to spend.

I would like a decent run time and also decent output.

Ideally an all in one unit but its not that essential if there is a better separate system.

What would you recommend.

Cheers

steve

I had a really good MagicShine MJ872 for several years - nice focused "beam area". I've tried a few cheapy chinese brands around £20 and found while the run time was great, the throw wasn't great for singletrack. Great on commuting and paths, but not the technical mtb stuff.

I'm currently waiting on a reply from MtbBatteries - which everyone raves about. Not the cheapest option in the world, but hoping it lives up to its reputation.

Ok great.

It turns out that my "old LED" light is infact a mtbbatteries lumenator.

Just need to get a battery sorted for it in that case then.

Happy days.

I found a reconditioned exposure 6 pack on ebay for a bit less than £250.

If it's just a battery then over to mtbbatteries to sort that.

I like the idea of having everything in one piece. Waht sort of warranty do you get with a reconditioned light?
