Gopro type fitting so it will fit underneath my Garmin mount. It’s only for occasional use for if it comes in a bit dark when I’m out. So dosent need to be overly bright. Anyone seen anything about not too expensive?

The Halfords 1100 lumen are very good for the money. Come with go pro mounts and an out front mount too.

After trawling old threads I bought a Ravemen CR1000 and then QR mounts for both bikes.
Seems really bright on max and battery life is very good.

The Ali-Express ones - got a couple of them but in bar mount flavour. I'd recommend popping the lens off and greasing the rubber seal to get better waterproofing as mine let a bit of rain in. Been fine since. Very good cut off so you don't blind drivers/pedestrians.

Cateye make a GoPro mounting for their front lights. Their 400 lumen light is excellent. Me, I use a Joystick. Not cheap but I like it angled down. Easy to take a spare in the back pocket too.

The excellent 76 Projects have a number of mounts and can sell Exposure lights with them:

I didn't recommend Exposure (fanboy here) as he said not too expensive

I've got the Ravemen CR1000 too. If it's going under a mount, you can turn the lens the other way around to preserve the beam shape/cut off. Because it's properly focused, I think it outperforms its nominal ratings - most of the light goes where you need it.

I did put a couple of (not very good, especially the moving one - trying to steer, change gear, change light modes and film holding my phone, up an ulit lane!) vids up on YT

I have one of the Newboler ones as in the second link. Great but I forgot to click the correct image, wondered why it was cheap and didn't get the mount. Got spares anyway
