I have a Giant XTC se circa 2006. I realise the weak link is the front fork. Can anyone suggest what I would replace it with. Something used I guess like a Rockshox. Just not sure how to choose one that will fit the frame easily and be suitable for the mph disc brakes.
Thanks, Nigel.

I've kept a few old frames ridable. I find the best thing is adjustable travel forks. The longer travel slackens the head angle and improves descending. Trouble is that it can make them a bit ponderous when climbing so its nice to have the option to wind them in. If its straight steerer then your options will be limited. I'd be looking at recons, revs or pikes depending on what you can find. As for the brakes look for an adapter or replace the brake with a deore
