I'm looking at putting discs on my commute bike, cable ones for now to (probably) replace with a hydro group later.

Some of the pm calipers are sold as front and rear separately, i can't imagine what the difference is, any ideas?

The calipers are the same but the length of cable and adapter will vary.

Thanks.

That's pretty much my thought.  What's throwing me is the box doesn't (best i can tell) contain anything other than the caliper.

Could be cables i guess, which would be a bonus.

Yes that's a bit odd. Which brakes are they? I've had the Shimano cx75 mechanicals and Spyres and neither of those came with cables or adapters.
