Afternoon Guys,

I live very close to Swinley but fancy riding further a field. I know there is a lot of MOD land around and hopefully going on a few group rides at Tunnel Hill when access is available but what is the deal with Frith Hill? can i currently ride Frith Hill or is there access issues.

thanks in advance...

There is currently a large film set at the top of the hill (on the concrete hard standing) this is all fenced off. Access to the rest of the land is unaffected, however there has been lots of logging work on Frith Hill recently so many of the old trails have disappeared.

Be good to hear feedback. As said, much logging plus the filming and lack of trail use and weather means much has been lost. There's also due to be work to put in a formal foot/cycle path (gravel/tarmac) to link Deepcut to the school. Not sure if that's started yet.

Not been in there for some time, especially as I'd normally approach from Tunnel Hill through Porridgepot, but that's fenced off from Deepcut so it's a long way round to get to Frith now.

Used to be a nice place riddled with trails.

MOD land, keep away from army if you see them. Though the mess place is in they may not be using it.
