So I'm not superstitious but I'm using it as an excuse..
First ride one new shiny guide RSC brakes and halfway through a lap at Cathkin I hit the brakes and hear a funny noise and the rear lever pulls to the bar.
Seems I didn't tighten the pad retaining pin properly after the bleed and also hadn't fitted the clip
