Can't wait to try it out and get it set up right.

Does a whole bike count as an upgrade?

I've ditched the camelbak

And replaced it with a mug?! Just don't put cold drinks in it whatever you do.

My last upgrade was also a whole bike, in the shape of a Kinesis FF29, though due to my technological ineptitude you'll have to use the power of your brains to imagine what it looks like. It's green if that helps.

Yorkshire rose stem cap. Not really an upgrade, but a really nice graduation present nonetheless.

New forks (Slants) and saddle (Fizik Arione) on this:
[img] [/img]
As you can see I also upgraded the weather to Summer, although it's playing up a little at the moment which is a bit annoying. Forks and saddle are grand though.

Yes they are superstar wheels (tesla evo with tactic AM rim)

Chain hasn't dropped once in a week of riding in les arc and the wheels have been amazing

BigDummy that Chromag is well nice!

This was halfway through my latest upgrade. First time I'd ever serviced my fork and it was pretty easy! I also swapped the coil for a firm which has transformed the feel of the bike. No more dive but I still get full travel 🙂

[img] [/img]

I will be doing a full service soon though as I didn't replace the seals or anything this time so I'll be getting a service kit and doing it properly.

Bought a rockhopper comp on cyclescheme 18 months ago.
Have recently gone 1 x 10 with xt casette (11-36), zee mech and on-one ringmaster 30t chainring (because I am fat and weak) on deore cranks.
Replaced the fork with 100mm reba (thanks aracer!)
Replaced the wheels with the new hope tech XC on pro 2 hubs (which are awesome!)
It is like riding a whole new bike!
Not finished though, still have to replace the brakes (probably with deore M615), bars and seatpost (reverb).
Oh, and will also be upgrading the frame eventually (Solaris or sherpa) so I can go the full Trigger...

Fin25, that view looks familiar. Is it Beacon hill?
Oh yeah, just ungraded brakes from hayes 9 tp to xt m775s. Big difference in braking and no worries about messing up the paintwork.

Just bolting this on. Not going to have the luxury of unlimited training time after this season so going to have to sharpen up the few hours I will have.
