Anyone ever bought one?
Wife bought a very nice Vitus from Wiggle and its just been one issue after the other...

SRAM Axs Etap Red - top of the range groupset, only it arrived with one dead battery, yet apparently passed gear change test on the inspection sheet...
Eventually got a pair of new ones from Wiggle.
Neither brake calliper was properly aligned and the front brake appeared to be overfilled, couldn't stop it rubbing. Thought a few rides might bed it in but just screamed really loudly all the time.
On test ride number 2, the rear freehub jammed turning it into a fixie - DT Swiss deep section wheels. After about 20k it released again. Had freehubs fail, but never had one jam on before.
So, we decided to return it as it's just too many things to deal with in a brand new bike.
To be fair to Wiggle they're collecting it this week, but I feel sorry for whoever gets it next!

Not on a road bike, you don't do the sort of braking that might sort that on a mtb.

Had a freehub seize, it was a very cheap hub that was very much abused on winter road duties. A new, high end, one going is pretty odd.

Wouldn't worry, it'll be punted on eBay. OTOH, someone will likely pay over the odds for it
Yeah silly monies paid by the OP & then onto it’s new rightful owner an enthusiast with a keen dental plan who is probably a dentist too.
To finally be advertised on stw for £2500
