1st time up in Dunkeld for a few days with Mr and Mrs Ssstu. Rode Dunkeld yesterday and Pitlochry today. Highly recommend the trails to anyone thinking of visiting the area.
Some more of the same from me but I take much shitter pictures than sofaking.

Cross/gravel bike shakedown. Thought the cantis would kill me. Vibration was terrible so back to mini-Vs

Had to happen eventually, after 3 weeks of solid blue skies the rain came. Took a (tarmac) pedal up to see the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, had hoped to catch Sierra Ferrell but we fly out as she steps on stage.

New wheel day for me on Friday. Standard pre work ride at Boneyards … with a bit of chain snapping and dirt napping.

Bestwood Park.
I think there has been a sale on at CarpetRite

Wharncliffe.
It's still gnarly.

No riding yet, but did get to the opening of our village's new pump track this morning.
Sunday shreds with the kids… endless sessions with kid 2. Kid 1 was busy on a log cannon which ended with his mate taking a drop to the head and off for a CAT scan 😳

@kayak23 where's that booter? I don't recognise it and I know wharny fairly well
First trip to Glassie Bike Park. Enjoyed it but the climbs were tough. Steep with a mix of tech and swoopy berms. New trail CamanEm probably the highlight.
Top of Sundance
Top of CamanEm
Some great pics as ever.
Rode Friday night on local trails and then bagged up the bike for a week in the Pyrenees starting Thursday. Including two 'big mountain' days staying in Refuge's. Had to dig out the big packs!

Chose the Camelbak as it did the job 10 years ago on a similar tour out there.
Bike in the bag as have a busy week before we go. Those Polaris bike bags are ace. Must be its fifth outing. Had a bit of a bike dilemma but chose the RipMo over the Giga as I've just loved riding it since building it in June. Nice problem to have to be fair!
Oh wrote a thing as well: https://www.pickled-hedgehog.com/whats-in-the-bag-2/
Sick edit, from yesterday.
Summer trail about to end.

Had an ace long weekend.
Friday off (burning remaining annual leave while the weather is still OK) so went down to the peak and did a big walk from Edale with my better half. Up Grindsbrook Clough (beautiful, and a fun scramble-lite), along Kinder through the woolpacks (ace stone formations - really fantastic), then over Brown Knoll, Rushup Edge, Mam Tor and Hollins Cross. 18Km. Weather was superb - sunburn! Really really enjoyed myself

Saturday was overcast in Leeds so just did jobs, however I did get out for a bit to do some trail maintenance - cutting back a few overgrown areas. No photos.
Today it was a bit brighter, so to make the most of the good trail conditions (probably all going to shit next week) I did a big linear ride over to Ilkley taking in some of West Yorkshire's finest...
local singletrack

some cheeky gap jumps

cheeky canyon

sun came out

Cow and Calf

Train Home

55Km 1700m climbing. I'm done in. Was MINT!
Antur on Saturday, the view was somewhat restricted...

Dyfi on Sunday. Totally epic, I'm just glad it's not closer because I can't afford to go every week...

Spin round the local this morning in the sun, before the clouds rolled in.
From Graviemore this weekend
