There's something of a gallic tinge to this week's edition of Fresh Goods Friday. Produits frais vendredi, peut être?

Mmmnnnn… feeling a tad ‘excluded’, being a mountain biker hailing from ‘North of the Border’…

Dirt was the best MTB mag ever. Just saying.

Truth.

MTB was my first love but I used to buy Ride BMX, Dig and the occasional Thrasher because they were just much more interesting and exciting to look at. MBUK was like CBeebies in comparison. Dirt gave me the best of both worlds and I was on board from issue 1 until the end.

I used to love magazines but I struggle to see what place they have these days. I subscribe to Greystone BMX magazine but they've only done 2 issues so far. I don't buy any others.

Anyway, back on topic. I've already got the sausage t-shirt (and the green and pink Wake up in Paradise one) and this time next month I'll be bombing down the Pleney myself.

You don’t often get a Danger Mouse callback in the mountain bike media
