Trying to improve my bike storage from "leaning against the wall in a tangle". Rented flat so I can't use hooks. I have 2 MTBs and a jump bike taking up the space a normal person would put a sofa in my living room.
I have one of those gravity stands which leans against a wall, worked for a while but now I only have bikes with bars too wide for it. The best solution I've found so far is one of these: https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Topeak-Dual-Touch-Bike-Stand-2-Bikes_16586.htm which is more than I want to spend but maybe worth it.
Any clever ideas I've missed?
Rotate the bars for storage?
Do you have a sofa? Pull it out a bit and stash 2 of your bikes behind it.
A throw over the bikes and you'd never know they were there.
Very space limited, not trying to hide them just make it easier to get them in and out and maybe reclaim a bit of living space.
I used to use a Saris one that leaned against the wall - but this was back when 700mm was wide for bars.
I turn the bars (and remove the pedals) on a couple of bikes in the garage that I don't use so often, only a couple of allen bolts and a minute or two to put it back when you want to go riding. Or just take the front wheel off and turn the bars/forks.

Aldi have a version of the Topeak for £39, which means you can probably find it on ebay from other "brands" too.
But that doesn't make them any narrower, so you would probably still want to spin the bars 90deg to get them anywhere near the wall.
Depending how precious you are about scratches, one bike upside down, and a bike leant each side of it (one facing each way) takes up surprisingly little room.
In the end I just bought a CRC bike bag, wheels off and stored under the bed, bars 90deg (so one end pokes out the bag) and just don't drop it on the mech. Each bikes then protected and takes up about 25*140cm of floorspace each.
Thanks for the suggestions, upside down bike might be the solution. Saw the Aldi stand but reviews said the hooks were too small for a lot of bikes.
