Morning all,

I'm looking at getting another bike, namely a freeride/dh bike. I would prefer a freeride bike with the tighter angle but I'm not too sure what to get. Anyone have any suggestions on complete bikes or just frames?

Spen

Bullit or a Bottlerocket perhaps?

Bottlerocket always puts a smile on my face and it'll take a pounding.

Rachel's bike looks lurvely...sadly Mrs F has imposed a one-in/one-out policy (frankly, I'm amazed I've got away with it so long......) otherwise I'd have had it off her faster than you could imagine.

allthegear - Sorry, I should have specified, it doesn't have to be a new one. Would you mind emailing me pictures please?

Regards,
Matt

Hi guys - I did post it in the classifieds a while ago but got messed around and decided against pushing it. see http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-santa-cruz-vp-free-med-full-bike-with-hope-sun-fox-and-marzocchi

Rachel (really hoping I'm not breaking some rule here - it's all in context of the thread, isn't it??)

Canyon bikes may be worth a look too. Really good bang for your buck imo. Shame they don't do an out and out dh bike

I'm selling a S/M Lapierre Froggy frame and Totem fork, in case that's of any interest.

Could be just what you're after, providing you're not a tall person.

Email in profile if interested.

I have an 2008 Bullit and 08 Totems combo for sale at the moment if you are still looking? Sized small, great bike. Email me on rhid14@hotmail.com if you want more info. Looking for around 600 for the pair with a few other bits thrown in.

Specialized sx trail, the best bike i've owned, unfortunately i can't afford a bike for every genre so just a full suss (pitch) and a steel hardtail (soul) for me oh and a road bike until i finish JOGLE then its for sale!
Back to the sx trail, i had an 07, up to 2006 they had issues with the chainstays snapping but were beefed up for 07, nice short rear end, plush and flattering, had mine built up with 36's and it excelled on the local freeridey,dh tracks and had a couple of great days at Gawton (dirt 1:04) on it. I do miss it and if i could i'd most definately have another.

Cheers guys and girls, unfortunately it looks like I will be out of it for a while, smashed my shoulder and rotator cuff up pretty badly so I'm going to leave it until I can ride again. Thanks anyway!

Bummer spen1. Still, no better time to start collecting bits and have her built and ready to ride when you are. Or approx delivery time for one of those Canyons 8)
