I won a competition in MBUK earlier in the year - giving me free entry to all 3 Tweedlove enduros this year. I had to miss the first one, but gave the second one a shot and found myself waaaaayyyy out of my comfort zone to the point that I was a serious risk to the health and safety of myself, others and (more importantly) my bike.
So I'd like to offer up the remaining entry to the Tenduro on Saturday and Sunday 18th-19th September. I shall take no money. I think it would be nice for the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue to get a wee donation though - so how about interested parties drop me a PM with a suggested donation amount. Highest donation offered by tonight at 10pm wins. I'll then email the organisers (who I've already checked with) to arrange the change of name on the entry; after confirmation from Tweedlove, I'll ask the winner to email me a screenshot of the donation and we're all done (no screenshot means you'll be named and shamed, and I'll come and find you at the race and poo in your spd shoes :-))
I hope that makes sense. I have a habit of overcomplicating things.
Good idea, I wish I could make it but I'm up there the week before so couldn't do both. There is some great riding but it's definitely quite challenging in places, especially in poor weather!
Any idea how long the course is/what the height gain is? Potentially intrested...
The previous two have been approx 31km and a total of about 1300m of climbing/descending. There's a shorter option, which is about 20% less on both counts
