The Tour of Britain Women is being shown free on iPlayer (maybe also red button). Fill your boots!

They're in Yorkshire today and it's proving to be quite a punchy stage already.

iPlayer isn't free.

(Says pedantic grumpy person without a TV licence 😉)

It didn’t look very popular at the finish in Redcar, hope the numbers are better at the weekend. Kelso, the place to be?

I think weather was expected to be worse than they actually had, hopefully dry again tomorrow!

Was a cracking race - quite tense in the final. Kim Lecourt is proving to be a really exciting rider to watch this season.

Quick write up here:

oh and its streamed free on YouTube as well if the beeb doesn’t work for you.

Quite a lot of people in Redcar were well beyond the finish in the team parking area where they could get better pics of the riders.

You're right, the finishing straight itself was pretty dead! Although equally it is just a long open bit of road, there are no houses along there.

I won't bother watching on iPlayer as the result got spoilt above 🤐

Maybe spoiler alerts are needed

Technically, you need a tv licence for that as well. Technically.

Apologies for spoiling!

It's another great race today. The roads seem to really favour the brave.

That finish in Saltburn should just be the top of the hill. Pointless having the next 300m with no people. Great finish though.

Logistically - in terms of stuff like where the  podium, deviation, team parking etc is - it has to be where it is. That was a brilliant finale though, brave race from the winner (no names, no spoilers!)

Another great race and talented young riding over the line.

Weather wasn't too bad again and the scenery is fabulous.  I'm loving the commentators too.

I'm sure I could look this up, but who are the commentators?

Also I’ve just learned that Hayley Simmons has a chemistry PhD. Obvs has no bearing on her ability as a commentator but in my book is VERY COOL.
