This has been on the list of features for a frame I would build for a while. Glad to see someone has finally done it:

Not how I would do it but it's a start. Good on Bionicon for doing something different as usual.

Going to be a right pain when it breaks and you have to send the whole bike back to get it fixed though 😥

But you could say that about the rear suspension and people still buy them. What do people do when their swing arm bearings or shock fail?

If you build it into a frame you can design it better and have a removable actuator - like a shock. You could also have it so a normal post can then be inserted and clamped in place.

How would you put it in a workstand? Or remove it to put in a car?

You'd just drop it to put in the car. I think it's the way forward too

Like everyone else with a dropper - just push the seat all the way down to get in the car (removing is a pain if you have the cable fastened to the frame).

For the workstand you can get round that the same way people with droppers or carbon seat posts get round it. Several ways to do it.

Swingarms and bearings don't fail once a month (I know droppers are much better but it works for dramatic purposes).Unless it's a Yeti/Whyte 146 of course 😉
