I'm looking at getting an xc hardtail frame and looking at a Giant xtc composite 29er or possibly anthem 29er 2013 onwards or Focus raven 29e carbon.

However in the spec lists from various sites including the manufacturers I cannot find what the rear axle is , I have 142x12 wheels which Ideally I would like to use on a build but I don't have a axle conversion set for.

If any body has these and can shed some light it would be much appreciated.

What wheels/hubs are they? Convertors are normally fairly cheap.

Both the XTC and Anthem are listed as 15mm front & QR rear as built up models.

They are factory fitted whytes from my whyte t129 142x12 came with no conversion kit.

Ideally want 142x12 anyway for less flex (am I believing to much marketing hype).

Ringle make an axle to convert 135x12 to a 9mm QR but you'll also need some adapters to reduce the hub width from 142. I have no idea who makes Whyte's hubs for them.

Contact Whyte support who should know if anything fits or even your local dealer who may have come up against this issue before.
